We\u2019re expanding our portfolio of devices officially recommended for use with the Proget MDM solution. This time, we\u2019ve verified the compatibility and proper functioning of our system on several new Motorola models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which smartphones did we test?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the test bench this round were devices from the popular Moto G<\/strong> series \u2013 the g75 5G, g55 5G, g35 5G,<\/strong> and g15 Power<\/strong> \u2013 along with Motorola\u2019s business flagship, the ThinkPhone 25.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Moto G<\/strong> series offers solid performance and quality at an affordable price, making these smartphones a great fit for everyday work needs. On the other hand, the ThinkPhone<\/strong> is a premium-grade device, highly durable, built to military standards, and equipped with advanced AI-powered security features \u2013 an ideal choice for demanding enterprise environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does Proget MDM perform on Motorola devices?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In short \u2013 very well. All tested smartphones handle the full set of evaluated features without issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What exactly did we test?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Device location tracking and geofencing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All smartphones report their location accurately (in both ‘interval’ and ‘in-motion’ modes), enabling IT teams to track lost equipment<\/strong> or monitor mobile staff in the field. The Geofencing<\/a><\/span> feature works reliably, automatically applying predefined rules<\/strong> based on location \u2013 for example, disabling the camera in restricted zones like factory floors, where photos and videos are not allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiosk mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Once registered as Android Enterprise Device Owner<\/a><\/span>, all devices show consistent behavior in Kiosk mode, regardless of configuration. This mode restricts the phone\u2019s use<\/strong> to one or a few selected apps<\/a><\/span>, which is useful when the device is meant for specific tasks \u2013 such as when a store manager is checking stock levels using a dedicated work app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Remote installation and removal of apps<\/a><\/span> (whether from Google Play or APK files) works seamlessly. The smartphones also correctly enforce whitelists and blacklists<\/strong> in the work profile. These lists give administrators full control over which apps are permitted, helping ensure that, for example, warehouse workers aren\u2019t watching YouTube videos while operating forklifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re genuinely impressed. From a technical standpoint, the tests were successful: we didn\u2019t encounter any critical issues that could affect device performance after activation.
