Proget’s Kiosk mode restricts the use of the hardware to only designated applications. A multi-app Kiosk will allow staff to use a selected set of programs designed, for example, to conduct examinations and review records. Devices configured in single app mode can include, for example, an application for completing medical interviews and surveys, or collecting feedback after a completed visit. This helps reduce queues at registration desks and shortens the length of a patient’s stay at the facility.

Mobile devices used in hospitals and clinics contain sensitive patient information, such as medical records and personal data, which must be protected following applicable laws (GDPR, HIPAA, and other patient rights laws). In the event of a confidentiality breach, Proget empowers you to take quick preventive action. You can set up various automatic responses to detected incidents (Mobile Threat Prevention profile). If a device is stolen or lost, the system allows you to lock the equipment and delete data remotely.

Failures and malfunctions of mobile devices can disrupt the smooth operation of medical production or facilities, from loss of access to patient data to delayed assistance or even cancellation of appointments, such as when a specialist offering telemedicine services has problems with a company laptop. Proget’s remote desktop feature allows administrators to remotely connect to a device to diagnose and repair errors, providing immediate support and reducing equipment downtime.
