Today, we released a new version of the Proget solution! We added several improvements and features that we plan to develop in the future.
In this update, we redesigned the device activation process, improved Apple device management, introduced the Notification Center, and more!
A handful of key new features
- Activation 2.0. The activation process now uses templates that let you quickly create activations with predefined settings. The new wizard will guide you step by step through selecting a platform, automatically assigning a template, or creating your own template if necessary. If you don’t know which management mode to choose, you can use the contextual help. After generating the activation, you will receive a QR code, a table of activation data, and an interactive guide based on the data assigned to your specific case.
- Improvements for Apple devices. Proget now supports so-called declarative management, giving you new ways to control Apple hardware. You can enable declarative mode in the activation template or on a specific device – in the future, it will become the default setting. The new Apple Update profile will allow you to enforce updates for iOS and macOS.
- Notification Center. Here, you can view notifications about all system processes running in the background or taking longer, such as generating exports, mass assigning labels, or bulk deleting users. Each logged-in administrator can only see the actions they have performed. Once they are complete, a clear summary with the most important information will appear in the Notification Center.
